Schaendorf Cattle Co. from Hopkins, MI had always been a milk and beef company but there was potential to tap into the mail order beef market. The challenge was to convert a multigenerational agricultural brand into a consumer-friendly brand. The Schaendorf family believe people should know where their food comes and if could see their farm you’d be impressed. The challenge now is to build awareness and beef up their image.
The family farm was going to market and the Schaendorfs knew their current farm logo wasn’t going to grab attention on store shelves. Researching online beef services, trends and the like, it became evident we weren’t just selling beef, we were selling a culinary experience. The mark needed to be bold. We wanted the customer to be able to share the experience and story of Schaendorf Cattle Co. with pride for local, fresh and sustainably-raised beef. We think the mark hits the spot.
