Entrepreneurs Need a Mark for Seed Money.
Mike Mutrie asked me to design a brand identity for his big idea. He and his chef partner were looking to build a brewery and restaurant for connoisseurs of sensorial tastes. Boston has big city breweries but nothing small and experimental. Cambridge and Somerville had the university crowds and breweries. Mike was targeting Watertown an opportunity for a specific location known as The Arsenal.
Over a few beers and lots of intent and vigor, we came up with a few big ideas. The marks were executed in short time and the meeting with a venture capitalist went well but there wasn’t a final agreement. Taking a step back, the young entrepreneurs sought other opportunities.
