November’s Free Digital: Your Best Bet

The early to mid 20th century abstract artists like Aaron Siskind, Franz Kline, and Wassily Kandinsky, asked us to embrace uncertainty. Life isn’t as straight-forward as we’d like. In fact, it’s messy.

Thank you for reading this post, don’t forget to subscribe!

But in the mess, we sometimes find meaning and beauty with personal interpretation. It’s like the game of Telephone. The artists starts with a subject; it’s expressed in color, form, and material; and we interpret it as we will.

It’s also like when someone asks you a question. 99% of the time your immediate reaction is to answer. Abstract art asks the question, What do you see and does this mean anything to you?

For my taste, I like to force two or more objects together, mixing context, and creating new meanings and playful interactions. This month’s piece is called Your Best Bet.
This piece is a frame-ready, high-resolution digital design. It’s available at 8″x10″ and 12″x16″.
