In the summer of 2011 a college buddy—and kick-ass designer—
Daniel Luzier and I teamed up with William Grand from
Grand Interactive to build a custom configurator for the French road bike manufacturer Cyfac. Daniel had a previous relationship with the company being that he was an avid cyclist himself. He knew the client and knew his product well. Jointly we surveyed the competitors and presented storyboards around the usability experience.
Every client is different and being this client loves design as much as his product,
my storyboards added graphic interpretation yet stayed primarily focused on illustrating the user flow. The pitch was a success!
From there all we needed to do was build on the flavor of the storyboards and enhance the design elements during the design stage. How about that for a concept. First round of designs produced a winner. Milestone met. From there Daniel and William flushed out the designs and production was complete. Viola. Off to the races.

Thanks Jeff. I have to say I channeled a lot of what you brought to the process while you took reins at Digitas. All the best and YES let’s work together soon.
